Another day of building Tiny Erskineville! Slow day because of the rain and preparations for the Symposium of Art, which runs from 12-4pm tomorrow. More information available at the Quarterbred site.

Our first ever change back on Wednesday (not documented here) was from a young man who didn’t leave his name (christened ‘Graffiti Dude’) who asked us to replicate some graffiti on the old Cake Shop. That old Cake Shop has since been transformed into Tasty Flavour, a Japanese sushi and tempura restaurant. (25.02.10)
A Contemporary Art Workshop and space for visual and material artists has been put at the bottom of a new sculpture garden. (25.02.10)

Apartments have been places (with a small garden) on top of the Council Chambers (25.02.10)

FlyOne, a young man who retracted his real name after worries that he would be linked to his ‘FlyOne’ tag, recreated the Erskineville Hotel as a Casino (sign is yet to be coloured). (26.02.10)

New community art in one of Erskineville Road’s grassy areas (26.02.10)
That’s all so far for today – come along tomorrow if you can to discuss the future of art at the Symposium. There will be scones!
